An extra 4 Star tournament has been added to the qualifying events for the Junior and Cadet Masters events in May, to replace the cancelled East Midlands 4 Star. The extra event will be the Cheltenham 4 Star Tournament on the 5/6 April 08.
The current qualification criteria is as follows:
"There will be automatic entry into for the top twelve eligible Junior and Cadet (male and female) players on the April ranking list, (released 17.4.08) provided that they have played in at least two of the following events:-
The UK Youth Games at Coventry, the following 4 Star tournaments; Blackpool, Stockton, Derby and Cheltenham."
There will still be two wild card entries per category decided on by the ETTA Junior Selection Panel.
The new timings will give the organisers a tight time schedule so quick responses from the players invited will be appreciated.
