We now have a system similar to "Ebay" whereby members can access the auction area and do the following:

1........ Sell items they have to offer as an auction or set figure, plus upload a picture of the particular item concerned and set the days of the auction.

2........ Bid for a particular item of interest in increments of whatever it states, all the information is at the auction area.

3........ Set thier own auction date and time ending, such as a 7 - 14 day period.

4........ Add the item to either miscellaneous or Table Tennis equipment catagories.

The system is self explanatory as ebay is and if you have any problems or questions post them here or pm myself.

The auction has a link in the navbar and shows how many items are in there at present.

This is a great idea which should stop the main parts of the site being over-run with 'for sale' threads in the future.

Is this thing still on? Can't seem to find it on the site navigation. Oh and is the 'Items You Want To Buy Or Sell / Auction Area' gone as well?

Good job Dave! By the way what's the p&p for the mug? Is the bid increment auto set to £1?

Dave Robson

the increment is set to one pound but can be set to anything the "seller" wants via the settings when you sell something. I just did it to start the auction off as a demo although the coffee mug can be bought and postage plus package is free.
