There are many aspects to taking part in sport, it’s a real community affair bringing old friends together and making new ones, for some people it’s not all about the win.

Do you find that whenever you are playing or attending a tournament that you are giving advice and helping people out, or you help out at a club but would like to get more involved, well then you would be an ideal coach.

If you are over the age of 16, the first step towards becoming a coach is to attain your Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Table Tennis, the South West region are running just such a course on the 16th December and again on the 3rd February, the details for which are below.

Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Table Tennis in SOUTH WEST REGION

This course has been organised in the SOUTH WEST REGION at Okehampton Table Tennis Club, Castle Road, Okehampton, Devon EX20 1HT on 16th December 2007 and 3rd February 2008.

In addition to the Course, candidates will be required to have sucessfully attended an Emergency Life Support Workshop and an appropriate Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop within the last 3 years. For candidates needing to gain these, workshops have been organised on the 13th January 2008 at the same venue.

The cost is £160 Registration and Course Fee. Additional costs are the Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop at £25 and Emergency Life Support Workshop at £28.50.
