If you look at the history of the sport, in the 50's many said sponge would ruin the game.

Nothing wrong with short pimples, surely? I bet that most of us hit our first shot with a SP bat? I know I did.

I beat two long pimples players last night, I was very pleased. I think because I played the weaker player first, it played into my hands and I got used to them by the time I played the other one (who currently has a higher average than me.) I hammered their other guy as well, a hitter, but I think he'd beat himself by the end.
