As inspired by King Slasher's post below, do you have any tales of equipment being laid to rest?


Unfortunately this blade died a week last Wednesday with a broken neck. It died doing what it liked best ie. ( making me look a complete **** on the table ). I would like to tell you it was a peaceful ending but it wasnt really. I do have to say though that it was a relief when i put it out of it's misery and it felt no more pain.

O what I wouldn't give to have video footage of this moment! A grown man vs a poor defenceless blade!

Dad lost a blade also in very similar circumstances.:resent:
The blade did not do as it was being told and he decided to discipline it.
In a very uncontrolled manner he decided to inflict maximum pain by hitting his own head, breaking the blades neck also.
He then proceeded to spend the next 4 years preaching control to his very impressionable teenage son!!!!:rulebook:
