News and press release ......................
The ETTA has been successful in bidding for bursary funds to support candidates attending UKCC Level 1 and 2 courses. Successful applicants will receive a rebate of 66% of the course fee after completing the pre-course induction.
The timescale to qualify for the bursary is extremely tight - candidates must have completed an induction for a UKCC Level 1 or 2 course in the period 1st January to 31st March 2009. We interpret this as receiving your course pack and completing the pre-course tasks specified.
For those that have already attended a course in this period, you need do nothing until you hear from the National Skills Academy for Sport and Active Leisure, who are administering the programme. The ETTA will forward your details to that organisation.
For new candidates, your course application for an advertised ETTA Level 1 or 2 coach education course must be received, together with the full course fee, in the Hastings office by next Friday the 27th March. Once again, we will then notify the National Skills Academy.
