Rescheduled - Olympic Dreams will be on BBC2 from Monday 17th December - Friday 21st December at 14:00. This means that Darius Knight and Paul Drinkhall feature is on Wednesday 19th, Thursday 20th and Friday 21st December.
Olympic Dreams.
With 5 years to go until the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Britain’s best young hopefuls are already hard at work to try and bring home the gold on home soil. “Olympic Dreams”, is a five year project to give us an insight into how much dedication is needed, the highs and lows and how the athletes are progressing on their path to glory.
Two of those hopefuls are none other than our very own Darius Knight and Paul Drinkhall, who feature in episodes 3, 4 and 5 (Wednesday – Friday). Week 1 charts the progress of Darius and Paul through the Junior World Championships, an Asian training tour and the build up to the European Youth Championships. As well as the competitions, the BBC delves into training regimes and mental preparation needed to compete at the top level.

Gymnastics
Episode 1
Britain’s rowers are fighting for a seat in the top boat, Paralympian Dressage rider Lee Pearson faces a major crisis with his horse and teenage cyclist Ben Swift risks being dumped from the Olympic academy.
Episode 2
New talent Shanaze Reade must prove herself in the tough world of BMX, the clock’s ticking as Britain’s top dressage rider Lee Pearson struggles to find and train a horse in time for the World Para Dressage Championhips and Rowing’s Men’s Head Coach Jurgen Grobler has a surprise in store for the elite 4.

Britain’s young Table Tennis elite take on the best in the world, top athlete Jess Ennis must improve her throwing and Rowing’s top boat is a man down.
Episode 4
One of Britain’s best table tennis hopefuls drops out of a vital Asian tour, 11 year old diving prodigy, Tom Daley, takes on the adults at the British Nationals,and heptathlete Jess Ennis is having a crisis of confidence.
Episode 5
Last of this series of “Olympic Dreams”, we join Britain’s youngest Olympic hopefuls all at crucial moments on their road to 2012; Britain’s Table Tennis hopefuls are aiming for gold in Europe.13-year-old sensation Tom Daley, takes on the world’s best seniors in synchronised diving and in Wales the search is on for the gymnasts of the future.:happy:
