When I asked that question I thought I would get an answer like "I once saw DaveR pick a ball up and rip his shorts". But I agree with Jase, ouch! :crying02:

His dad, Eric was most extremely instrumental in promoting TT in Lincoln, Eric died about 15 years ago, but his legacy lives on in Lincoln Big style, Crusaders TTclub, which was his achievment, is still going strong, I would love this to get back to Neil, who I briefly met some 25 yrs ago.

Yes, I met him a few times when Neil used to take us up to Lincoln for Junior challenge matches against the likes of Stuart Worrell.
Can't remember if I played against you in those days Andy ? but they were great fun !

Ah Stewart Worrell, I see his dad Dennis regularly as he is Lincs tresurer, No i don't think I played you that far back, we first played at st Neots in a British league match about 10 or so years ago. BTW, that was some comeback against Mark Donaghue at the Eng closed, once you'd pinched the 3rd, it was all one way.

Dennis was my captain/coach of the England Schoolboy team in 1987. Stuart was big mates with Graeme McKim and has now married Jackie Bellinger and is living in Bedford.
The most worrying aspect is that Dave Hyde is down as one of Jimmy's biggest influences. I had to carry Dave to the tube station after the last LORDS test at which point he was trying to put a bet on a race that had finished 2 hours previously (and he still didn't back the winner!).
Would have been nice to see Jimmy's best wins/worst losses as well!

I bet they are stupendously wide ranging...

There's a challenge, perhaps we should compare the three of yours?

I know this sounds difficult to believe but I don't really make a note of who I beat/lose to ?
Off the top of my head, I have beaten most of the top ten Vetts, either at Vetts/Senior level or both and several top ten Seniors at various stages of their careers as they were coming through the ranks (Tim Yarnell, Chris Doran, Graham Sandley, and countless others that I can't remember)
Wiggy is right though, a stupendous range and I am well known for going through a tournament or representive match and beating allcomers or losing to someone of the street who have never picked a bat up !!
