Is there a minimum level of competence/fitness required to partake?

We welcome players of all standards, age and fitness. The coaches can adapt any exercise to suit all levels.

I attended the 1998 school. I went there as a novice and came away as a player. Low division Local league, yes, but much more knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Carol Moore, Brad Billington, Nicola Deaton and Des Douglas were the coaches on that one.

Ive known quite a few enjoy the experience and have indeed came out better players in the process, lets face it the holiday, accomodation and the whole table tennis holiday is pretty good and not that costly in the big scheme of things.

The coaches are excellent and if you are looking for fun with table tennis improvement then this is your place.

The year I was there two of the coaches were Chen Xinhua and Alan Cooke - excellent week.

Hi TS - I always wanted to go on the Tees Sport Coaching Holiday when I was a young lad of 12 (about 15 years ago...!!!). The only trouble was the venue was Durham which, for me, was only about 7 or 8 miles from where I used to live. So it was hardly like a holiday for me - I suppose if it had been held down South or up in Bonny Scotland it would have been like a holiday.

Having said that Durham is a beautiful place and for anyone who is considering going on the Coaching Holiday it is supposed to be excellent and a great deal of fun where I'm sure loads of new friendships are made.

Enjoy - Spongebob!

I would have been there the same year as Chen Xinhua as well [Xinhua only went about five or six times].

But, what are the 'offers' referred to in the opening post to the thread. I cannot see any reductions on offer.

Why not ask TS he seems to know the relevant information (TS is his member name) i'm sure he will give the answer to that one if there is an answer that is.

Dave put the word 'offers' on the title of the thread. This was a mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

My fault ................hands up

The school as you will see and probably already know is for 2008 and is as everyone has said a great place for a holiday and indeed coaching in the process.
