Certainly do mate music is the mirror of my soul and rock and metal keeps me sane . I have never really listened to anything else. You yourself like a bit of rock ,I remember when you bought The River by Springsteen

I went to a lot of concerts since 1978, principally when I was working in record shops. One of my best memories is a concert of the Clash in 1980 in Strasbourg.
The two last concerts I saw are the Eagles of Death Metal (who don't play Death Metal at all :cool2: ) in Luxembourg, and Ghinzu (a Belgian band) in Nancy, where I live.

Although my tastes in music greatly differs from these 'postees', I have to say that you can't beat 'live music' in terms of atmosphere and pure 'rush'.
Mind you my last 'live' experience is beyond remembrance.:drummer::drummer::drummer:

Um interesting , im my younger years (White Spiky Hair) bands of choice were Bauhaus, Jane's Addiction, Christian Death, Nirvana, Ramones, Sisters Of Mercy, The Cramps, Wonderstuff , Quireboys, Spear of Destiny
and a load more with interesting names like Love and Rockets and Balham and the Angels. This music went hand in hand with exotic drinks, exotics cigarettes and exotic female companions. No wonder my TT never progressed!

I went to the glade festival near Winchester (10'000 strong) with my family in August to see my Bro in law who was headlining, free backstage beer and hospitality, wah hay. Wierd though, everyone was off their heads and my 13 yr old son was chatted up by an absolute gorgeous babe who due to her intoxication did not realise how young he was.

I've seen most of these too. Most recently I went to see Echo and the Bunnymen at the Roundhouse in Camden. To my horror I realised I first saw them play nearly 30 years ago! where does the time go?

Not everyones cup of tea, Techno stuff, but they are quite big in countries like Japan. They also had a no 2 hit with 'born slippy' the anthemic tune to the hit film Trainspotting. The clip I offer is the Glade festival 2009 headlining act.

They are still touring, I saw them twice last year, at the carling academy Birmingham and at The glade festival. Not your run of the mill techno outfit, Karl prances about with a guitar....Born slippy is always on these 'top 50' of alltime anthem rundowns, often coming in at the top! but their music is a feature of most Danny Boyle films (sunshine, on TV Sunday night) plus they supplied the much of the soundtrack to The Beach (black ball) Batman (the dark night) and of course Trainspotting. I hear their music almost every day as background music on TV programs especially sports programs.
