Is there a particular pie (keep it clean Thorpy!) or is it all pies in general - plain or flakey pastry!!!

ah well ,thats an interesting question mr sponge,i do believe that i prefer any pie at all, mince&onion ,,steak, chicken and mushroom etc, however the main object of my desire at the moment has to be the chicken curry round pie, one day i may move on to more discerning pastries such as the "game pie " and maybe later still to the "partridge and quail mystical pie" of the outer hebrides.

Do you take chips with your pie ? or do you have them neat ?
personally I find that a stick of celery is much healthier than a pie.....although if Gelders bakers could research and build a prototype celery pie.....they may be on to a healthy winner. You of course could be involved with the research and development, and then road test them.

chomping "THE LOT" (harry enfield) sounds like a respectable way to dine on pies,as for the celery pie,it may go down well with the twig eating brigade, but not with the "desperate dan, cow pie eaters society"
