How far would you or have you travelled to play your great sport?
Many people travel incredible lengths and distances to play the sport with abroad being included in that. I have played in Germany but thats probably my furthest............i know Roger is off to China but would you ever travel to those lengths?
I travel nearly half a mile to my home matches at the TT centre.
We looked at houses for a couple of years before I found one I liked. It wasn't until after we moved in that I showed my wife just how close to the TT centre we now lived.

You Men! My ex-partner insisted when we moved into our new house that we should decorate our rooms Claret and Blue, it took us ages to agree on wallpaper etc. Then a few weeks later he admitted to his rational behind his preferences....................It was all down to him being a West Ham supporter!
Where's that obsession thread :sulk:

I once went to Sunderland....didn't like it so I have never been back
I knew a girl from Sunderland when I was at university and every time I saw her she spent all the time telling me how good Sunderland was (She was always drunk when I met her though). Never been myself.

We settled into a new house in Summer '07. We found a garage with a house attached which is fine as we finally have a TT table at home.:dance3:
The fact that we are next to a major A-road and hearing distance of the M-way is secondary. I now have my own TT table:static:.

:fart:Aye Harry Belafonte I have many fond memories of that trip to the Worlds in Dortmund. Being in a camper van with 5 other blokes after a night on the beer not being one of them !!!!! A more recent foreign trip was once again to Germany to play in the World Vets Championships in Bremen. I have also played in the European Postal & Telecoms workers Championships in Malmo Sweden.
