We are in the process of gaining entry to Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org/) for Table Tennis Talk.................

Explanation for those who maybe havnt heard of it !

Wikipedia (IPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Pronunciation): /ˌwɪkɨˈpiːdiə/, /ˌwiːkiˈpiːdiə/, /ˌwɪkiˈpiːdiə/ or /ˌwiːkiˈpeɪdiə/) (Audio (U.S.) (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2e/En-us-Wikipedia.ogg) (help (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Media_help)ˇinfo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:En-us-Wikipedia.ogg))) is a free (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_content),[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-0) multilingual (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multilingualism), open content (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_content) encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encyclopedia) project operated by the non-profit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-profit_organization) Wikimedia Foundation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation). Its name is a portmanteau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmanteau) of the words wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki) (a technology for creating collaborative websites) and encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Encyclopedia). Launched in 2001 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001) by Jimmy Wales (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Wales) and Larry Sanger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Sanger), it is the largest, fastest-growing and most popular general reference work currently available on the Internet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet).[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-1)[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-go-to_site)
As of December 2007, Wikipedia had approximately 9.25 million articles in 253 languages, comprising a combined total of over 1.74 billion words for all Wikipedias. The English Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Wikipedia) edition passed the 2,000,000 article mark on September 9 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_9), 2007 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007), and as of February 11 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_11), 2008 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008) it had over 2,220,000 articles consisting of over 966,000,000 words.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-ListOfWikipedias) Wikipedia's articles have been written collaboratively (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collaboration) by volunteers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volunteer) around the world, and the vast majority of its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet. Having steadily risen in popularity since its inception,[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-AlexaStats) it currently ranks among the top ten most-visited websites worldwide.[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-AlexaTop500)
Critics have questioned Wikipedia's reliability and accuracy, citing its open nature.[8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-Who) The criticism is centered on its susceptibility to vandalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vandalism), such as the insertion of profanities or random letters into articles, and the addition of spurious or unverified information;[9] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-DeathByWikipedia) uneven quality, systemic bias (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Systemic_bias) and inconsistencies;[10] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-SangerElitism) and for favoring consensus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consensus) over credentials (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Credential) in its editorial process.[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-AcademiaAndWikipedia) Scholarly work suggests that vandalism is generally short-lived.[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-MIT_IBM_study)[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-CreatingDestroyingAndRestoringValue)
In addition to being an encyclopedic reference, Wikipedia has received major media attention as an online source of breaking news as it is constantly updated.[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-2)[15] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-3) When Time Magazine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_%28magazine%29) recognized "You (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_%28Time_Person_of_the_Year%29)" as their Person of the Year (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Person_of_the_Year) 2006, praising the accelerating success of on-line collaboration and interaction by millions of users around the world, Wikipedia was the first particular "Web 2.0 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0)" service mentioned, followed by YouTube (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YouTube) and MySpace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MySpace).[16] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia#_note-You)

The site will be in a table tennis catagory and submitted regularly making it unique.........which it is now but will grow in visibility and search etc........

Just the fact that people participate is enough and the best way to support is as you already do, enjoy and participate.

The rest will look after itself

or rather ill look after it lol
