Quality - Sangster played against us the other night and played some brilliant table tennis. In fact the quality of TT throughout the night by every player was excellent - some outstanding points / games - obviously...I wasn't playing like!!!
Of course after the match we all had a canny litle pint too....!!!
In the wise words of 'Churchill the Dog ......'Oooooooh Yes!'
Spongemonster :taz:

Well the tactics area is all well and good but the simple truth is play to your strengths in Table Tennis with a close eye on your oponenents weaknesses, that said not enough "local level league" players put enough emphasise on the technical issues of the sport.
Look at the simple terminology ..........stop him blocking, its crude i agree and yes effective but very simplistic.
Serve and recieve is still one of the largest neglected issues in the UK with many good players having less than average serve, following on with a decent recieve tactic would be even more effective against any opposition.
What is the most common league shot played in your area, which in mine is probably the push given the opposition like most areas is either getting older or less keen to practice any other parts of their game.
