There seems to be a real mix of players all over the country and beyond. Presumably most players will be playing in local leagues.

It could be possible - if members are up for it - to video some key matches against other players / teams or even just practice or coaching sessions and sharing them on the site.

That way we can see the standard of play - get to put faces to the names - get advice re: tactics and general play and pointers for improvements.

Eventually it could be posisble to build up a profile of leagues, teams, players, coaches etc - regionally and nationally.

It might be a bit late for the winter league (but still possible) but certainly feasible for the summer leagues (for those areas that run these leagues)

The standard can be variable, i.e., beginners through to County and beyond.

What do you think?

It could be funny (I might even do a few impressions!), serious, whatever members would like to share. But in terms of the purpose of the site etc it would certainly enhance it and what it is setting out to achieve.

OK OK lets get this sorted...............tournament Sunday......

Videos ready and yes ill bring the set up

Next

This will be on youtube

With the Table Tennis Talk logo and introduction.

The rest is up to the members to perform, we would like all videos of local or national matches either sent to myself for editing to the main youtube and there onwards added to the site. Or contact myself HERE (http://www.tabletennistalk.co.uk/forum/sendmessage.php)with information which i will then sort .............i will then edit and add to the TTT youtube site.

Quality - that will be a good start because there should be a high standard of matches at the Tournament - Andy, Goddy, Eddy, You, Thorpy, Windy etc etc. Unfortunately, I have not entered as I am away the day before but will be coming down on the afternoon to watch the 1/4's / 1/2's and finals.

This is a good idea and wouldn't it be great if it started a trend around the country? Any other groups interested in doing this?

Get the footage made into dvds.
Watching local league players 'perform' will have chronic insomniacs buying and recommending the product. Could be a money-spinner.

Local tournament could be sponsored by Valium or Sanatogen.
Just add the time-outs, and the adrenalin-junkies wil be well catered for.

Yours helpfully,
