View Full Version : Earthquake Anyone?
In at my house in West Yorks it sounded like someone was jumping around upstairs and there were a few glasses banging around downstairs. How was it for you? Did you even feel it up north?

Yes I did actaully - it was round about 1-ish - I had recorded the TT on Eurosport yesterday morning and was watching the match between Denmark and Hong Kong. I was lying on the floor next to the fire and felt the floor shaking (as if someone was walking past me) - it was really noticable - it last about 30 seconds maybe a minute or so.
I didn't think anything of it to be honest until I heard the headlines on GMTV this morning. Then I wondered what time it had happened, i.e., was it about 1-ish and where was the earthquake's centre.
On the map they shown it recorded activity from Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire and beyond.
So quite an eventful night....and the table tennis was good too!!!

My clock said 12:57am I think. I woke my wife up to tell her but she couldn't remember it this morning.
