Name your own Table Tennis Rubber!!!

For a bit of light relief from my previous heavy thread I thought I'd start a thread on naming your own (or that of a site member that you know) table tennis rubber etc.

It could be a micky take / fun or it could be based on their style of play / their best shot / how lucky they are or how grumpy / happy they are on the table etc.

Here's one for FantasyCheeseBasin for starters (based on his love of pies...!!!):

- Pie Crust - a slighty hard outer layer with a soft inner, renowned for its energy providing persona and homely aroma. Used by players with a longing for the traditional table tennis values!!! Unfortunately, it needs to be replaced every game - normally after a nice pint of guiness or extra cold beer!!!

Of course it doesn't have to be restricted to the table tennis rubber - it could be the blade, the glue, clothing etc.

Thought of one for Goddy (Harry)...

- The Zimmer - For players in the later years....with dodgy knees, ankles and elbows and huuuuuuuuuuuuuge derby kelly's!!! It has the following qualities:

- a really tacky surface which attracts the ball from the floor and sucks it up to save you bending down and picking it up!!
- on receipt of a badly timed net the rubber automatically tuts on your behalf to save your much needed energy!!
- shouts 'Hooooorah' to salute another victorious win!!
- automatically texts your friends and opponents of the win for bragging purposes!!!
