View Full Version : Look Good Or Feel Good?
There has been plenty of topics on tactic, strategies, equipment and venues and although some more interesting then others one thing that I have not seen is the topic of shoes.
Some people will put the style or make of one shoe over the other because of how it looks and others prefer the comfort of the shoe.:tomato:
Can you get shoes for wide feet or narrow feet? What type of rubber on the sole of the shoe is best for concert or wooded floors? Do the shoe manufactures provide shoes for high or fallen aches? :confused03:
I think it’s important to feel good in the shoes you wear. What’s your opinion?:whistling:

Her feet are to big Guy !
Butterfly seem to get the general vote, im assuming this is the case in the US market?
I really don’t pay attention to how popular a shoe is. I mainly go on word of mouth.
I have gone through a number of shoes throughout the years starting with Jack Precell (sp).
Among the different brands I have tried are Pony, Puma of which I can’t remember which one had the high arch support, Lotta had good gum rubber that wore well, Adiddas that I did not care for the fit, Fila light weight good traction but lacks in comfort. Nike, BK, and KSwiss for some reason or another have not gone back to them. Currently I am sporting New Balance, they are not as light as Fila but they do come in different widths (a plus to me) the comfort is great in my opinion, traction is above average and price is affordable.

I've got Joola something or other at the moment.. before that I had Hi-Tec Squash trainers, so I certainly wasn't bothered about looking good!
In general I find very few table tennis trainers look good anyway.. the ones I have at the moment are OK, but I struggle to get them big enough anyway, so I tend to take what I can get!
I don't know if you have New Balance stores in you area? If you do I suggest you visit a store to see how accommodating any of the shoes can be for you, others wise the info on the on line store may be a hit or miss situation.

Some nice stuff on that site Guy !
Ya, who'd ever think that a shoe manufacture would give options for the comfort of your feet.

Big business shoes..............just look at how much they cost in countries such as China then look at comparisons here or even abroad.
Without doing research on my own are you saying shoes are cheaper or more expensive in china? As with everything else that comes from china I'm assuming they're cheaper in china, I just want to confirm.
