Turned up years ago to play against Sunderland in a town match and their no2 was playing in a 3 piece suit borrowed sandshoes and bat at least he took off his tie I don;t think it was his fault a player had cried off and they had to get him from a function he won his games i think he was called eddy

peter whiteman once won his 3 for revac playing in a top coat against byker i think the heating had failed probably need a sheepskin at newton

a guy by the name of : cappy : dempster allways wore a cap and sometimes hobnail boots

I once forgot my trainers (I am the most disorganised person in the world) and because I refused to wear shoes with sports gear, I had to play in bare feet (I had to take my socks off too, so I didn't slip about.)

A guy call Wilf Barker did that and Eddy Taylor......both were incredible players especially Wilf who played for England.

yeah u have cracked it 4 me it was Eddie Taylor Wilf and Mickey Ford were also in the team may have been 1971

gary mcdougal ,jeans ,jumper covered in plaster from work,half a rubber on his forehand side as it had been torn to shreds,still won his games.

I used to play in my school uniform quite a bit.....but it was at lunchtime with dinning tables pushed together when I was 12

A least I went to school.....On another note....what is the most unusual outfit anyone has ever played golf in.....I hear that you once played golf in Table Tennis gear....you are one crazy FCB

Once went to a disabled tournmament in Sicily and it was minus 4 in the sportshall, jumpers, hats and one of the ex coaches had socks on his ears to keep them warm. He was ginger though....

Myself and a guy called Dave Armstrong used to play doubles in local open tournaments Carlisle Meadowbank etc ( Why have them long gone ) in bright orange/lemon gear and tank tops we were the original tango men

Also once played at newton with leg in plaster won sets as well
