Well, its been almost 30 years since i picked up a bat,im so pleased i did,i must say that the table tennis world is the best thing since my raleigh chopper bike with added extras.

I am now a vett and am starting to realise what reaching 40 means in the world of sport.

As a youthfull chap when playing my reaction time was brilliant,it was so good i would get bored waiting for a return.Now its like my opponent is getting bored waiting for me to get to the table and serve,the creaks and injury prone body is in need of an overhaul,from being a new porche to a 01 plate 90.000 mile on the clock ford mondeo 2.0 petrol with a broken cd player,dodgy suspension and a cracked sunroof.
Anyway its brilliant that the vetts exists,i can hopefully continue to play this bloody infuriating sport(can you tell i rescently lost 2 from 3 i should have won,frank lash ek, 8 in fifth, and a young lad from cleveland,very focused on winning he was and it proved to be the deciding factor,very well played) anyway heres looking forward to the european vetts in croatia 2009,

oh and Alvin Robson as i think he has recently had the best win of his career beating the Fish 3 straight!!!!

i think frank did very well in poland rescently in a big tournament he mustve gave them the "lashek" treatment.:dance3:

i am away to Poland for European Revenue and Customs tournament next month so will see how well he did and hopefully i can do as well as he did and come back a european champion!!!!!!!
