This is my personal feeling but I'm not a fan of gambling. Do you think the Casino is necessary here even if it is a fun thing? I just personally think it has no value.
What do you all think?

If like me, everyone loses all their money in a few minutes then I think a valuable lesson can be learned.......Gambling does not pay. Just as well it was not real money

I worry that we are developing a gambling culture in this country.
Poker is being glamourised and glorified by TV shows that turn gamblers into some kind of sporting heroes. Even watching the world snooker final we were given a glimpse of some bloke in dark glasses sitting in the audience who was introduced as "The Devil Fish" one of our top poker players.
Kids are now seeing it as a way of making money, not realising that for someone to win, someone else has to lose. And if they do realise it they always think it wil not be them who loses.
However with adverts for on line poker on trains, billboards etc, with kids able to go into a corner shop and buy a pack of cards and simple games like 'penny up the wall' suffering the ravages of inflation over time I suspect the casino on here is not going to be giving me any nightmares.
Anyone who doesn't like it is welcome to transfer their money over to me as I seem to have lost mine already.
The casino is good, but we need more money.:money:

Though it was more like 'for every winner, 10 others lose!'
or if it's TV telephone questions, the winner's already decided and everyone who takes part loses.:resent:

Well I'm sticking to my guns and won't play on principle.
However, I have all these Dollars now so whom ever pays me the nicest compliment in this thread gets em! :thumbsup:

I agree with you Annie and lost all my chips on purpose in principle as you are the most principled, intelligent and beautiful ball collector I have ever not seen. If you give your chips to me I will again lose them all on principle and you will not damage my psyche in the slightest.

Hey Chris you dont need to justify a post......... the input is always welcome as is everyone's on the forum.
Just for the record i actually like a bit of simple fun and lets face it the addition is purely and simply fun anyway.

Whilst I was sitting here bored waiting for a phone call I thought I'd take a look in the Casino. Decided to have a game of Blackjack and won a fortune :dance3: sadly it took me half the time to lose it all again.

I'm often told I'm pedantic when I'm not but I would like to draw your attention the fact that the currency we use in the Casino is the $ :resent:
Your lack of attention to detail is probably why you got a question wrong in the quiz today! :popcorn:
Maybe it was all a big trick to make sure I had to post again and earn myself another $.
I have put it in a dyslexia friendly font too.

I sort of agree with Belisar, when real money is concerned however a fun theme is fine by myself with nothing won or lost in anything other than fun.

No point having that much money unless you are going to do something with it. As the only thing to do is spend it in the casino, it doesn't seem that much use to you. I think you should put the casino's limit up to $1m and play a bit of roulette.
