Great post and i agree with Annie on this we as a country and Worldwide also should be supporting the young hopefuls to fulfill their potential in whatever chosen sport.

The Government needs to be more involved at every level to see the talent and not only the affluent of the world for example the Venus twins and many more who are there but mmay not have the opportunities or money to do it themselves.

All Table Tennis hopefuls should be looked at seriously and given the coaching needed to be successful, but sadly many places have no coaches nowadays with volunteers who are sometimes very keen but not with the skills needed to give the youngsters the correct stroke play from the out set.
