The site as you will know already has a news feed down the right hand side which is RSS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format)) driven which is the most uptodate method of delivering "as it happens" news / events etc.

I have changed the feed to the sport Olympic feeds as this is obviously relevant in the near future.

What is RSS .........
RSS or, Really Simple Syndication, is an XML-based format frequently used by news sites and blogs to easily share and distribute Web content, without requiring readers to constantly visit the website for updates. RSS feeds contain news headlines, summaries, and hyperlinks to longer articles or web pages. With the aid of an RSS news aggregator tool, users can have access to all the latest news.

The system is to keep anyone interested up todate with all events etc

When you refresh your PC this automatically sends the latest sporting news.
