Hi. I've just started playing again after a break of nearly 20 years. I have a nittaku magic solution blade, which I can see is no longer available these days, and some pretty battered old rubbers which need changing. I guess I play allround/offensive, but frankly don't have a genuine style at the moment - just try to get it back on the other side....
Could anyone kindly suggest some reasonably priced and durable rubbers?
Thanks

there are no reasonably priced rubbers at the moment raphael, i would personally suggest that you struggle on until all the new rubbers are unveiled when glue is banned then purchase your new ones
hope this is helpful
as i have said in past the best person to give advice on this topic is TS as he is one of the Tees Sport team

So many brands and so many rubbers to choose from - sometimes advise when you really don't know someone's game becomes a bit of a lottery.
If I was buying Stiga I would buy Mendo Energy (about £28 per sheet). Soft enough to get some good grip for spin, decent for blocking and some speed for when you attack.
TS is more of the expert and could well suggest some good butterfly gear - maybe Sriver S (which could be a couple of pounds cheaper). I find Sriver a bit hard, but far better players than me use it.

Allround offensive would suggest you stay up and around the table so as Wilko states a little stand off until the new rubbers are listed when the glue set up is finalised maybe wise. The up to table without glue may mean you need a slightly harder sponge even straight forward Mark V as its pretty quick and a consistant rubber.............Butterfly sriver is still popular as always for its allround offensive play style too.

I play with the same style and Butterfly sriver fx is a decent consistent rubber for offensive control game. Also not a bad price either.
