There's one of them in Newport Pagnell, where I'm from.
It's been there since 1810.. so I'm told, it's the oldest iron bridge in the world that's still in daily use, though I could be wrong.
Like stuff like this, nice one Annie!

Ooooo..... That's a nice one too Chris. Yes I find it all very interesting too. Nice sometimes to just walk along quietly observing and enjoying the atmosphere.

Here you go Nunney and I must say what a lovely bridge it is too!
Below is a picture of the PontNeufBridge in Paris.
P.S. For those of you who are interested, Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604. "Le Pont Neuf" is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven arches and the other with five arches.

speed does kill annie i agree, but putting cameras up dosnt stop people speeding it just lines the government pockets, the only thing a speed camera does is prey on the human condition of falability (not sure its spelt like that).
if local council want to stop speeding cars they need to think of a better angle to stop it, and not just fine people,i cant see that being a long term solution.

I can show you my kit I used to wear for PE at school (it doesn't fit any more though), and I still have my Panini stickers of David Speedy, Pat Nevin and Kerry Dixon in the same kit somewhere.
I have been through some hard times inbetween I can tell you. Newcastle seem to be in a permanent spell of hard times don't they.
