Butterfly and San-Ei Win Equipment Bids for 2009

On behalf of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), TMS International, the marketing agency representing the ITTF, concluded the equipment bids for the 2009 WTTC. Estimation of TMS
"We are pleased to have both San-Ei and Tamasu (Butterfly) on board as sponsors of the 2009 WTTC in Yokohama, Japan", TMS Managing Director Mr. Anders Thunström says about an important step towards a successful event.
"By having these two equipment sponsors confirmed, we know that the Championships will be played on the highest possible quality equipment and it gives us and the organisers of the 2009 WTTC confidence for presenting great Championships".
Japanese Partners Are Optimistic
Both San-Ei and Tamasu are Japanese corporations looking forward to the event in their home country. "This is the third World Table Tennis Championships in Japan that we have sponsored, following 1991 in Chiba and 2001 in Osaka", Mr. Shin Miura, President of the San-Ei Corporation, says proudly about the recurring investment of San-Ei.
Mr. Shunsaku Yamada, President of Tamasu Co. Ltd. explained the importance of being a partner of the ITTF. "It is one of the best occasions for us to promote our internationally operating brand", Yamada says. "We look forward to a great success for the 2009 World Championships in Yokohama, which helps the enhancement of our brand's value."
