So what do we think about this then?

I personally feel very sorry for the Chinese people because as we know in our own countries the opinions of ordinary folk counts for nothing.

I certainly hope the exposure on the games will highlight humane changes that appear to need changing. What we do need to remember is that it is the Chinese people's choice and not ours.

Well it's something that everyone has a right to, Freedom. It's what my parents came to England for in 1956 during the Hungarian uprising. They loved their Country but didn't have the right to choose their own vocations. Long live Freedom and Individuality.

I sincerely hope that all the protests remain as peaceful as the one today. I fear that this large gathering of people might be the ideal opportunity for certain extremists to do something awful as they already have tried but on a much larger scale.

Why can't people live in peace? How much wealth do any of us really need and what are we prepared to do to get as much of it as we can?

Let's hope only positives result in the forthcoming weeks of the China Olympics.

Have been to the site HERE (http://en.beijing2008.cn/) and watched a few of the videos and what ever we may think about certain issues we have to believe that the Olympic Ideal is for the people. I am convinced that although some may not agree that the Games should have been held in Beijing but it will undoubtedly have a positive effect for it's real people.

We all want to live in harmony and hopefully this is another tiny step toward that as the people and not the Politicians!
