Just a little help from members if possible with reference to creating new threads.

When creating a new thread please do so as usual but use the little feature under the content called "Tag" this is purely for what is called search engine optimisation (SEO) to make it simple it helps the site become top search in Google and other major searches.

The thread is created the same but in tag box just add any key words you think are relevant such as Table Tennis or worlds Table Tennis, in fact just a brief few key words relevant to the thread.

You will see on the right hand side of the site a module / box titled "tag cloud" the site automatically lists the most popular to list us in search engines.

Like in this thread i created i have put the tags below so you can see what they are etc.

This all helps the site to be search engine friendly.

Regards

Dave

This goes for everyone except FantasyCheeseBasin as we don't want to be bombarded by people searching for Meat Pies! :resent:

I don't know, I can see a space for a little Ginsters logo or something like that just by the TT ball at the top.

this will probably sound stupid but where is the new thread button to make a new thread in the first place?

Not at all Michael. As a quick guide if you click into a Forum (for example the Introduce Yourself (http://www.tabletennistalk.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3) Forum) toward the top left hand corner you will see a button called New Thread. Click on that button and it will take you to an Advanced Post window. The only thing that you need to do different to a normal Post is you must enter a title.

Under the main box is where the Tags box is that is mentioned in this Thread.

I hope this helps but I will be doing a proper guide as soon as I can.
