Well I, for one, am sorry to see the end of Table Tennis News! I appreciate that times have changed and we must move on with new technology, but to me it is very sad that after the years of history built up by several former editors, especially George Yates and John Wood, that we now have to say Goodbye! I shall be sorry that if, as so often happens, times turn around again and there may be a big gap in the history of the ETTA for future generations to look back upon. R.I.P. Table Tennis News!

And October 1966 was not actually the beginning. It replaced an A5 (I think) magazine, without a break in news, Table Tennis, which was first published in 1935. Hopefully these are all safely stored in the ETTA Archives.

Does anyone else remember the smaller magazine ?
