Thread: Where are they now?

    Dance3 Where are they now?

    A few times I've been prompted to start this Thread fbecause of posts I've read.

    Over the years most of you have made great friends through the sport but real life happens and friends made move on to different areas. Or maybe it's just a great player you've never met but always admired.

    A few weeks ago I asked if anyone had ever played against my Father Lajos (Lou) Palfi from Wolverhampton but sadly no one had. Is there anyone you wonder where they are now and what happened to them?

    Well this is the Thread to post in. You never know you might even become reunited with someone you haven't seen in 20 years (if you're that old already).

    So come on - 'Where are they now'?

    when i was a cadet about 17-18 years ago i used to play against a lad called Phil Neal in nearly every tournament i went to and was 50/50 who won!!

    He was a right character though and a quality lad as was his dad does anyone remember him or know what he is doing these days (hovis you might he used to practice with Sally Marling)

    Can you remember the other character on the rounds, Lyndsay Taylor great talent but as normal a bit an air head !

    From up North somewhere but never seen him for ages, top geezer and a great player

    did he used to play for sedgefield??? remeber the name am sure keith wilson used to talk about him

    Lindsay Taylor started playing in Hartlepool and then joined Ormesby whilst a cadet, with another talented player, Kevin Green. Lindsay played for Ormesby for several years. More recently he has re emerged to play in the Stockton League.
