    Is It me or are the young getting quicker ...................yes i know its me but seriously how do the slightly older keep up with the younger generation, some would say sod it move to the VETTS and be done leaving the seniors and juniors to fight amongst themselves. Nope not me get in and get on with it i say play amongst the youngest and best until you physically cant...............my only restriction im not changing to pimples until my movement is even less than it already is.............any comments on my ever slowing footwork are banned !

    Coincidentally, i have just qualified to play Veteran's level, but I shun these lesser [yes everybody, repeat after me, "lesser"] competitions and only enter the 'proper', superior [yes that's right, superior] senior events.
    I should add that i would usually get marmalised in whatever level event I choose to enter. That is not the point.
    I agree - keep competing at higher levels as long as possible.
